SETTLERS' VILLAGE QUILTERS
First Guild Raffle 1991
The quilting group decided to meet weekly at KSV to make quilts for fundraising. The first quilt was to be used for first prize in the KSV 1992 raffle. Each lady made a sampler block to bring to the quilting group. The quilting was done during the winter of 91-92
at Anne Cleland's home.
A blue and white Churn Dash quilt was made by the Settlers Village Quilters.
Guild members worked together to create a quilt for first prize. Pam Grey created a needlepoint framed picture for second prize. Proceeds were donated to a local Food Bank and Women's Shelter.
